Eloise Wessels

Eloise Wessels was (and still is) the General Manager/CEO of Media24 Books at the time of the book’s development and subsequent publication.

NB Publishers and Tafelberg Publishers are just two of the publishing imprints directly under her management. Maryna Lamprecht (the Editor: Non-fiction of Tafelberg Publishers) reported directly to Eloise Wessels. Having approved the development and final manuscript of The Lost Boys of Bird Island it was therefore on Wessel’s recommendation to the Board of Directors of Media24 that the book was eventually approved for publication. Without ANYONE undertaking a due diligence on the facts as portrayed in the manuscript(s).
